So Day 2 and a day at sea. The weather is perfect with blue skies and everyone is out and about. I was sitting up on the deck watching a family place with the oversized chess game. I included a picture above. I will be sharing my room which I love in a future post. As a preview, I am looking out at the front of the ship right below the bridge. The room is very interesting and I have never seen so much storage in an Oceanview room.

As you enter 678 Ocean Place on the ship you definately get the WOW factor. The Joy's glowing staircase and eye-catching chandelier are right in line with the Breakaway Class ships in the NCL fleet. |

One of the attributes of the ship that survived the $50 Million overall was the giant, mythical, red phoenix that was designed by Chinese painter Tan Ping. It is truely spectacular and special. |
